Hi! We are Kostia & Lana.
We are missionaries serving with 'Ukraine for Christ' (Campus Crusade for Christ International) in the city of Odesa.
Despite the ongoing war, the regular blackouts, and the challenging circumstances, we have chosen to stay in Ukraine. We see a tremendous spiritual hunger among students and young people. They are looking for answers, and we are here to share the Gospel and walk alongside them.
Why Students?
We strongly believe that the Gospel message and Christ Himself are the answer to their "crisis of self-identification". He is the answer not only to the question "What happens after death?" but also to the pressing questions of their daily lives.
The Search for Identity
It's safe to say that the modern student is far from faith and knows little about Christ. But there is one "but". The modern student knows themselves very poorly: their views, worldview, strengths, and weaknesses. They are increasingly asking the question: "Who am I?".
Catalysts for Change
The desire of our mission (and our personal desire) is to see how students, ignited by Christ, change our generation in their universities, and then carry the values of the Gospel into their future families, workplaces, other cities, and countries.
